Hola!! Bienvenida al primer artículo del Blog! Hoy te propongo que hablemos de «LANA» un término popular entre tejedores.
Por tradición o costumbre llamamos lana a todos los hilados
pero… no todos los hilados, son lanas.
Hoy te explico algunos términos para que puedas usarlos correctamente o no?

Fibra / Hilado / Lana
🧶 FIBRA: es la materia prima y se utiliza en la fabricación de los hilados. Hay varios tipos de fibras: natural, artificial y sintética. Tema para próximo Blog.
🧶 HILADO: es el producto que se obtiene ejerciendo torsión sobre las fibras. El proceso puede ser manual o industrial.
🧶 LANA: es el pelo de la oveja, se obtiene mediante la esquila.
La lana es una fibra natural conocida por sus propiedades térmicas y caloríficas. 🐑
No todas las lanas que producen las ovejas sirven para tejer. Por eso a la lana lista para tejer le decimos PURA LANA. La más común es la LANA MERINO.
Lo sabías?
Seguirás llamando «lana» a todos los hilados?
Seguramente que sí, porque cuando queremos comprar un hilado vamos a la lanera y pedimos LANA (nombre popular) y el vendedor nos muestra una gran variedad de hilados, aunque compremos un cashmilon o un algodón.

Cuando comencé en todo este mundo tejeril no sabía la diferencia para mí todo era lana y desde que lo aprendí también quise aprender más de hilados por eso iré subiendo más contenido como este.
Muy claro y didáctico el tema que es tan necesario a la hora de elegir que tejer y sobretodo que comprar también ya que no siempre se saben estos datos.
